ValidateVertexShader question.

Hi,while testing codesamplers samples i found that www.codesampler.com/source/dx8_cg_vertex_displacement.zip
crashes in ValidateVertexShader(). I came across a mail from Oliver Stieber that stated that this functions takes 5, and not 4 parameters. Indeed the patch below fixes the crash (however the screen remains black, but i think that's another bug) Anyone knows exactly what this (undocumented) function takes as parameters?
